Church Treasurer - Pat Hayes
Pat Hayes has been a member here at Central Presbyterian Church all of her life, being baptized in the old church building! Pat has seen many things evolve over the years into what our church is now, in both the building and the congregation. She has many fond memories of past members who were all influential Presbyterians and helped her growth including church picnics, family dinners, and outings to the lake. She has been through three organs and several ministers! Some of her memories include building the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall, updating Huff Court, and the North Entrance.
In 2002, when Pat began as our Treasurer, her accounting duties were on paper. Now the ease of a computer is much appreciated to help her balance accounts and with Session and congregational reports. She currently attends Session meetings to keep informed and answer any question that may arise, sits on the Finance Committee, and Congregational Fellowship Committee, keeps up with committee budgets, payroll, and paying taxes. Keeping bills current and getting the mail are a few of her many undertakings. Pat's husband Bob, is heavily involved in the community; they enjoy vegetable gardening and spending time together with their three children and their grandchildren. Pat also enjoys traveling to the beach and flower gardening. She is an active member of our community as well and is involved in many community activities and organizations.
